A few weeks ago, I mentioned that many blind people have free-running circadian rhythms, which makes it difficult for them to function with the rest of society. Their main entrainment organs, their eyes, fail to sync them to the 24h day.
Today, a new website was launched specifically for people with such difficulties by Vanda Pharmaceuticals. It can be found here: www.24sleepwake.com. They call the condition "Non-24". I've personally never heard it called this, so I'm not sure if it's an established term or something the company came up with. Regardless, it seems to be a good one-stop resource to find out more about the sleep difficulties of the blind.
